R.I.P.

Fashion icon and design superstar Alexander McQueen committed suicide, and was found earlier this morning. While the fashion world is in utter shock and sadness, our thoughts are with his friends and family during this terrible, unfortunate time. A great one was lost, and will be sorely missed.

The shorts over tights combo, while often overdone or ill-fitting, fits perfectly in this outfit along with those amazing boots and fantastic military-green coat! But pause on all the rest of those things - just look at those TIGHTS! That white patch is killer. I love it. I want it. I gotta have it.

One of my all time favourite outfits of hers... I don't care how many people don't like her messiness, she is still one of the biggest influences in the model off-duty, laid back, perfectly disheveled look that is everywhere these days.

It's The Holiday(s)

To me, it's not Christmas until I watch "The Holiday"... which I did twice today :)  So I feel double the holiday spirit!

New York Magazine online reports that emerging supermodel, 20 year-old Daul Kim, (supposedly, but not completely confirmed) committed suicide and was found dead earlier today in her Paris apartment. Our thoughts are with her friends and family during this incredibly difficult time. Just so awfully tragic...
