Some sources are reporting that model Agyness Deyn may quit modeling to pursue an acting career. She was noticeably absent from many shows this past season, and may be following in the footsteps of model Gemma Ward who, at a similar pseudo-supermodel peak like Agyness, chose to take part in the fright-fest "The Strangers" and the australian film "The Black Balloon" instead of parading down the fashion week catwalks. Gemma has said that she would return to modeling later on, with brief appearances at Chanel, Hermes, Givenchy, Valentino, and a few other shows. 

Supermodel Kate Moss caused quite a stir when she showed-off her performance skills at a karaoke contest (that she was judging along with X Factor judge Louis Walsh and Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson). She took to the stage when a guest bid $47,000  to hear her perform "Summertime" with Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour, but they clearly were not prepared for her showmanship - the model was so into the performance she dropped to her knees and was writhing on the floor, all the while belting out the lyrics!

Model Camila Alves is pregnant with her second child by her boyfriend, actor Matthew McConaughey. They have a son together, Levi, who will be a year old July 7th.

One of my favourite photographs of one of my favourite models... I think it encapsulates Kate's persona perfectly without being in-your-face. It's simple but so engaging.

- Kate Moss celebrated her 35th birthday with boyfriend Jamie Hince and a 3-day celebration involving mounted deer and tiger heads, crates of alcohol (I guess that kills the pregnancy rumour), and a pig to roast on a spit. Guests included Kelly Osbourne, Sadie Frost, Rhys Ifans, and Topshop head honcho Sir Phillip Green. 

- The fashion world was abuzz when photo's were taken of Victoria's Secret Angel Karolina Kurkova walking in Sao Paulo Fashion Week looking a little paunchier than usual (if only we could be so lucky!) According to sources, her weight-flux stems from hyperthyroidism, a thyroid disorder that disrupts the body's metabolism. But not to worry, Karolina will be back in tip-top shape in no time. And even if she isn't, non-stick thin works for her :) Who says curves are bad?

- Male model Randy Johnston (born in 1988) passed away on October 11th. One of his last projects was a spread in the recent i-D magazine with model Lara Stone. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. 

- "Kate Moss: The Movie? A group of Hollywood producers wants to make a movie about Moss and her Primrose Hill pals Sienna Miller, Sadie Frost, Rhys Ifans and company.
Apparently the filmmakers on board for this project are the same ones who brought us Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up and Superbad. Let's take a look at the movie-friendly themes that the life of Kate Moss has to offer:

Overcoming adversity: Moss, a dwarf of a model at 5'6", is currently the second-highest paid model in the world
Becoming an icon: In the '90s, the fashion world was addicted to heroin chic, and Moss was its pale-skinned, dark-eyed, bony beauty.
Getting caught in a drug scandal: Throughout her career, Moss has faced rumors of drug. use. In 2005 London's Daily Mirror published [photos] of Moss with her nose hovering perilously close to some lines of cocaine. Controversy ensued.

- "Gisele Bundchen is set to auction off her set of private jewellery collection for charity, which were reportedly gifted to her by an unnamed ex-lover. The 28-year-old Gisele will be selling a 3.35 carat coloured diamond ring and a six-carat diamond pendant necklace to ‘Christie's Jewels: The New York Sale auction’, the Daily Express reported.
The jewellery is expected to fetch between 8,108 and 81,081 pounds."

-Kate Moss is said to be planning to tie the knot with The Kills star Jamie Hince. The supermodel is on holiday in Ibiza and is believed to have visited San Carlos church to check it out as a possible venue.
"Ibiza is Kate’s happy place,’ says a friend. ‘Whenever she’s down, she heads there. She’s had some lovely holidays there with Jamie."
