- "Gisele Bundchen is set to auction off her set of private jewellery collection for charity, which were reportedly gifted to her by an unnamed ex-lover. The 28-year-old Gisele will be selling a 3.35 carat coloured diamond ring and a six-carat diamond pendant necklace to ‘Christie's Jewels: The New York Sale auction’, the Daily Express reported.

Model of the Month...September

September's not even over and we're naming our model of the month! If there's one face that stood out to us in every fashion week so far (and probably Paris, which starts next week) it's the 17 year-old, German beauty Antonia (aka Toni) Garrn. Her classic beauty has graced adverts, magazine covers and of course, runways, across the globe. Her most notable work includes: French, Italian, and German Vogue editorials; a cover of German Vogue; replacing Natalia Vodianova as the face of Calvin Klein and replacing Irina Kulikova as the face of Jill Stuart; closing the Fall 2008 RTW Calvin Klein show as a worldwide exclusive; and opening the spring 2009 RTW shows for Carolina Herrera, Herve Leger, Jill Stuart, Fendi, and Derercuny. And fashion week isn't even over. Make sure to watch Toni - I mean, how many other models have landed editorials for Elle and Italian Elle within their very first month of modeling? That's why Toni Garrn is our Model of the Month. Congrats!

You might be surprised to see that it's just as unruly and free-flowing as any other show! Here are some such moments caught on camera backstage at the Fall 2008 Couture and Ready-To-Wear shows.

- "Not-quite-so-thin" is in for models at NY Fashion Week: If model thin is always in, at least there were fewer protruding collar bones and ribs to be counted at New York Fashion Week.
Models were up to sizes 2 and 4 — not 0, according to Nian Fish, chair of a fashion designers health initiative. Designers rejected prepubescent 13-year-olds. And at least one super-thin model who had the audience talking a few seasons ago was noticeably absent.
"I think a lot of the direction from the designers has been a much healthier approach," (excerpt from the models blog)
